Villa Angelina – Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

1.1 These Terms and Conditions outline the rules and regulations for guests staying at Villa Angelina (VA), located at Calle Damas 713, entre Luz y Acosta, Habana Vieja, Cuba.

1.2 By confirming a reservation at VA, Guests agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

1.3 VA reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on VA’s official website.

2. Reservations and Bookings

2.1 Booking Confirmation

• A booking is confirmed only upon receipt of a valid payment, as required.

• Guests must provide accurate personal details and contact information at the time of booking.

2.2 Room Rates

• Room rates are quoted in EURO, per room, per night.

• Published rates are subject to change without prior notice; however, rates confirmed at the time of booking will be honored.

2.3 Arrival and Departure

• Standard check-in time: 15:00 – 23:00. In case that guests arrive later, they must inform VA in order to arrange everything.

• Standard check-out time: 11:00.

• Early check-in and late check-out requests are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.

3. Payment Methods

3.1 Payment for the entire stay will be made in advanced, in order to confirm the booking with credit card or bank transferal.

3.2 Payment for the services provided at the hotel: VA accepts cash and credit cards.

4. Cancellation and No-Show Policy

4.1 Cancellation

• Cancellation fees will be charged as following:

4.2 No-Show

• If the Guest fails to check in on the arrival date without prior notice, the reservation may be released, and a no-show fee (100% of the total booking) will be charged.

5. Guest Responsibilities

5.1 Check-in Requirements

• International guests must provide a valid government-issued passport at check-in.

• Cuban guests must provide a valid government-issued ID (Carné de Identidad) at check-in.

• The person whose name is on the reservation must be present at check-in.

5.2 Occupancy Limits

• Each room type has a maximum occupancy limit (number of guests per room: 2 persons). Exceeding the occupancy limit may result in additional charges or refusal of service.

5.3 Age Policy

 • Guests under 18 years must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

5.4 Personal Belongings

• Guests are responsible for the security of their personal belongings. VA is not liable for loss, theft, or damage to personal items. Valuables may be stored in the in-room safe.

6. Hotel Rules and Conduct

6.1 Quiet Hours

• Guests are requested to respect the comfort of others by keeping noise levels to a minimum, especially during the quiet hours: 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

6.2 Non-Smoking Policy

• Smoking and vaping is strictly prohibited in all indoor areas of VA (including room balconies).

• the roof terrace at VA is the only area where smoking and vaping is allowed.

• Guests found smoking in non-smoking areas or rooms may be charged a cleaning fee (minimum 300 EURO).

6.3 Pets Policy

• Pets are not allowed

6.4 Damage to Hotel Property

• Guests will be held responsible for any damage caused to the property, furniture, fixtures, or equipment by themselves or their guests.

• Costs associated with repairs or replacement will be charged in cash or credit card.

6.5 General Rules

• Commercial photos or videos are not allowed.

• Split air conditioning has to be turned off if the guests are going to be out for several hours.

• Tampons, rubbish or other objects may not be flushed down the toilet. The nets in Cuba are not suitable for this. All bathrooms at VA are equipped with waste-baskets.

• Visitors are only allowed to the be received in the living room and the roof terrace; they are strictly not allowed in the rooms.

• It is forbidden to use towels to clean shoes.

• The building has 110V and 220V. Guests are responsible for the correct connection of the appliances.

• Private events are prohibited, unless they are organized in agreement with the administration.

• Guests will receive the keys to the room and the safe. The loss of the keys will be penalized with a fine of 80,00 EURO in cash.

7. Liability and Force Majeure

7.1 Hotel Liability

• While VA makes every effort to ensure the safety and comfort of all Guests, the hotel shall not be liable for any accident, injury, loss, or damage to Guests or their personal property unless such damage is proven to be due to the hotel’s negligence.

7.2 Force Majeure

• VA will not be held responsible for the failure to provide services or for any loss or damage caused by events beyond its reasonable control (e.g., natural disasters, strikes, power outages).

8. Complaints and Dispute Resolution

8.1 Complaints

• If you have a complaint about your stay, please contact VA management as soon as possible so that we can address it promptly.

8.2 Dispute Resolution

• In the event of a dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms and Conditions, VA encourages Guests to seek an amicable solution by contacting our team.

• In the case that the parties could not reach an arrangement, the affected party can establish a demand before the authorities of the Republic of Cuba, the applicable law is the Cuban law.
